C) The home is new. Oh… just wait!
Your kitchen is going to face problems. Here are the top ones that you need to watch out for, and how you can solve them.
Poor Water Flow
Have you noticed that that your faucet is not pouring out water correctly? The reason may not be because of low pressure, rather the aerator is to blame. The aerator is a device which mixes air and water. However, when it gets blocked, it gives your kitchen water flow problems.
What you can do is unscrew the aerator, and clean the dirt and grime with a toothbrush or toothpick. You can also buy a new one.
Garbage Disposal Clogs
The number one reason why your kitchen sink is going to clog is because of garbage disposal. One option is to not have it and learn how to throw the garbage in the bin. Otherwise, ensure that the tap is turned on while using the garbage disposal. This prevents food from clogging up. Also, pour warm water down the sink pipe regularly to prevent a build up of grease.
If it gets clogged, you need to open the pipe and clear the junk.
The most basic reason for a leaking dishwasher is that the hose is not correctly set. Check it and ensure that it is tight.
Noisy Dish Washer
Most probably, the cause of the noise is a loose part in the dishwasher. Check for any debris lying inside the dishwasher. If you hear a thumping sound during the wash cycle, it may be because the inlet valve needs to be replaced.
Hot and Cold Water
It can be quite frustrating when the hot water is fluctuating with the cold water. Even more so, the hot water is lukewarm. This is a sign that your heater is at the end of its life and dying. It needs to be replaced.
You kitchen will have all kinds of problems, these are the ones that occur the most, so keep an eye out.
